I am a highly experienced web and network software developer with over 10 years in the industry. I have specialised in content management systems for much of that time, developing custom plugins, themes and web applications based on platforms such as WordPress and Drupal. I also develop custom networked software and web applications in PHP, JavaScript, and occasionally C and other languages. I am very familiar with network protocols, web platforms and frameworks, web APIs, front-end technologies, servers, network hardware and network security. I’m also interested in new technologies such as AI and IoT. I am capable of delivering solutions on time and on target without micro-management or supervision, or equally capable of joining an agile development team and integrating quickly into the group. I also have the skills and experience to provide direction and lead developer/consultant skills on a project if needed. My work experience on this website lists only a selection of excellent companies for whom I have worked. An exhaustive list would be extremely long and not very useful. Please do not be put off by the fact I have not completed any projects on this site before - I have been working through recruitment agencies in-office for clients for a long time and I have only recently reactivated my account as I have been looking for remote work during COVID.
