Halsey Poster & Jewelcase
Students were to create a 11" x 17" poster for an artist of their choice that was performing in the GTA during Summer 2016. Posters had to contain vital information concerning the concert (i.e. date, time, website) and had to contain design elements that reflected the singer or band’s style/personas. In addition, students were also asked to create an accompanying 9.5" x 4.5" jewelcase insert for a CD of songs featured in the concert that would be sold in the various venues.
About Me
ABOUT ME: Motivated recent graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and a college certificate in Art & Design with a broad range of artistic skills. Currently working as a graphic design intern at a local agency but will be available for small freelance opportunities in the meantime. ON PROJECTS: I reserve all rights to refuse projects at my discretion. If offering me a project, please provide me with as much detail as possible (i.e. colour, sizes etc.) and if possible samples of similar work so I have a clear idea of what you're looking for. I will not accept unspecific 'draw me something' requests. When not working on an hourly rate I will always request a $15/hr milestone payment from the budget for any rough work/planning upon commencing work and a 30% artist's insurance fee should the employer wish to cancel after work on the project has begun or the final product is deemed unacceptable for any reason. Apologies, but my terms are non-negotiable.
