3D Hydrogeological Conceptuel Model
The 3D hydrogeological conceptual model represents a detailed spatial visualization of the subsurface hydrogeological framework of the alluvial plain of Guelma. It integrates geological, hydrostratigraphic, and structural information to depict the main aquifer systems, their geometry, and their hydraulic relationships. The model is constructed using borehole lithological logs, geophysical profiles, and topographic data, enabling an accurate delineation of the different hydrostratigraphic units. It highlights: Aquifer layers within the alluvial deposits, showing their lateral extent, thickness variations, and contact relationships with underlying formations. Impermeable or semi-permeable boundaries such as clay lenses or bedrock, which control groundwater flow and recharge pathways. Faults and structural discontinuities that may act as preferential flow conduits or barriers. Recharge and discharge zones, including river–aquifer interactions and groundwater outflows. The 3D model
