As the designer of this small urban café, my challenge was to transform a limited footprint into a space that feels functional, stylish, and welcoming — without compromising comfort or character. Working within the constraints of a narrow layout and street-facing transparency, I aimed to maximize spatial efficiency while maintaining a sense of openness. Seating was arranged linearly along the glass façade, creating a rhythm of round tables and cylindrical stools that allow flexibility and fluid circulation. The fixed bench along the wall not only saves space but also enhances comfort and continuity. Material selection played a key role in defining the café’s identity. I combined brushed metal surfaces with warm wood finishes and a textured floor pattern to achieve a balanced industrial-modern aesthetic. The ceiling was treated as a visual anchor: exposed wooden beams and suspended lighting elements add vertical interest and depth, drawing the eye upward and making the space feel tall

About Me

I'm Mobin, a 23-year-old architect and interior designer with a deep passion for creating spaces that are both functional and inspiring. Over the past few years, I've worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, each one helping me grow as a designer and sharpen my creative approach. I believe good design is all about balance—between aesthetics and purpose, simplicity and detail. Whether I’m designing a full architectural layout or refining the smallest elements of an interior, my goal is always to create spaces that feel both timeless and personal.
