Mr. Misum Hossain is currently heading Lexinsource operations in India as President & CEO. Misum incorporates in Lexinsource his extensive knowledge acquired through graduate legal studies reading the LLM with specialization in Computer & Communications Law from the University of London as well as an undergraduate Joint Honours Law with Business Studies degree from Middlesex University, London. Misum is the chief legal advisor at a multinational public limited company estimated at U.S. $25 million in India. He regularly advises various large and medium sized corporate entities on legal compliance issues and litigation support. Misum has been involved as a consultant in India in various areas of law including information technology, intellectual property, telecommunications, data protection, electronic commerce, property, investments, company, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, foreign investment, and immigration amongst others. Misum is widely recognized as one of India's foremost technology law experts and is also Honorary Vice President and Head of Faculty at Global School of Tech Juris ([login to view URL]). He has penned several books covering cyber law, intellectual property and advocacy skills as well as several white papers for students at Global School of Tech Juris. He has co-authored a book on cyber law in India, which is due to be published later this year. He regularly conducts lectures, workshops and seminars for law students, professionals and corporate entities across India. He has personally devised and conducted training programs for law enforcement agencies in Eastern India including members of the Criminal Investigation Department and Police Training College. He has had extensive experience in the legal sector through consultancy and corporate work experience and is also a frequent speaker on topics of cyber law, intellectual property and legal outsourcing having been invited as a guest speaker in various prestigious symposiums in India.
