Ovation UX Design

International consumers are increasingly demanding traceability and sustainability in the food they choose to buy and are willing to pay a premium for it. Ovation needed to ensure that its brand story reflected the real soul of New Zealand farms and farmers, appealing to caring and discerning consumers in its overseas markets. A new brand identity and website was created. Stunning images combining its delicious meat cuts into the landscape cleverly portrayed Ovation’s provenance. Chef endorsements, farmer videos, recipes and cooking tips added to the story. So good you can almost taste it!

About Me

I’m a UX/UI Designer currently based in New Zealand. I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, beautiful and intuitive interface designs. I design usable websites and applications that deliver results. Simple, minimal and effective - this is my mantra and method. I understand the perfect user interface should not only look good but work even better.  I work with clients of all scopes and sectors, from interesting startups to established brands like Vodafone, John Deere, KPMG. Every project starts with insight and ends with the user. My job is to make sure those two are aligned. This is where form meets function and design creates experiences. From user persona creation and user journeys, through information architecture, design concepts, detailed prototypes and usability tests. I’m not bound to any time zones or tied to a desk. The project dictates where I need to be and who I need to collaborate with. I strive to always go extra mile.
