Whether it’s: • a report, brochure/marketing leaflet, manual or website; • a thesis, dissertation, assignment or research proposal; • an article for a magazine or journal, a book, short story or even a blockbuster of a novel; my proofreading and copy-editing skills will help to ensure that the only thing that stands out is your message. I’m a Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) with a BA (honours) in English language and literature and an MA (distinction) in literature. I’m also partway through a second BA in politics, philosophy and economics. I worked as a full-time editor for several years before turning freelance in 2009. I’m a native English speaker based in the UK, although I work with US, Australian and non-native English as well. I’ve got a handle on all the main referencing styles – Harvard, Chicago, APA, MHRA, OSCOLA – and can help you put together a house style for your business too. On top of all that, I’m efficient, friendly and flexible, so you don’t have to worry about needing a quick turnaround or chasing me for emails.
