About Me
My services include any academic writing, editing and research, as well as any health-related writing/editing. I have an uncanny ability in finding links when it comes to research, whether academic, market or otherwise and love the detective work it entails. I also hold an avid interest in medical writing and am familiar with most regulatory documents for all phases of drug development. I am very familiar with different writing styles, be it for academic journals, magazines for professionals, the lay public, textbooks, etcetera. I am able to reach any audience. I hold a 4 year Psychology degree and am studying toward a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health. I have also done a Fundamentals of Pharmacology and Fundamentals of Epidemiology course. Whilst studying part-time at the moment I am a freelance magazine journalist (which I have been pursuing for the past ten years), having numerous features published in South African Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Femina, Your Baby and Elle magazines. I approach the editors with story ideas and when one is accepted, my feature is researched, written and delivered within two weeks. I also accept freelance research projects from a wide variety of fields, making my 'work' extremely exciting and varied. I am versatile and can adapt according to the needs of my clients. I am only interested in genuine freelance offers that will be both financially viable and intellectually stimulating, preferring an ongoing relationship that can be built up over time, though I do accept once-off offers.
