I operate small studio giving my clients my personal attention, advice, and assistance. There'll be no generic bids or bid lines from me. I am willing to provide samples of my work for potential clients to see. I am a trained artist/designer with B.F.A. in art from Syracuse University, and have been doing computer graphics work since 1990. In addition to computer graphics and design, I can also do hand drawings and painting. A brief note to those posting logo jobs. The creation of a logo to represent you is MORE than just a hit or miss process. A designer who investigates your background and your vision should do it carefully. To just post a job saying- "I need a logo for such and such", does not give the necessary information to a good designer to really create YOU a logo. I'm sure there are some designers who can pop out generic logos continuously, however logo creation is more than that, to me any way. Generally, I do not post mock-ups all the time. Mock-ups can be easily duplicated by experienced designers-even those that are watermarked. If the job poster specifically requests a mock-up, it will be provided either adding extra money within the bid or requesting additional pay for the mock-ups. I realize these ideas do not fit the normal provider, here, however, experience has taught me to do my best job for those that I work for and to protect my ideas as well. Venues like these where amateurs and those that are untrained or willing to do anything to get paid have degraded the standards of the freelance and design business. It is increasingly disturbing to see job posters EXPECTING mock-ups and "professional" artwork for a very small amount of pay and "designers" that are willing to give them what they want. Thanks, Mark
