I have been curious about graphic design since I was involved with the graphic arts classes in high school. I had an itch for creating things but didn't know exactly where that was going. I completed all three levels of the graphics arts courses including an internship. From there, I moved to college where I attended Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA majoring in Media Communications. In the course of my time there, I completed an internship with a large print organization, LifeSprings Resources where I interned in the Graphic Design Department creating and designing anything from business cards to large newsletters and magazines. After completing my internship with LifeSprings, I was hired by a local real estate magazine where I worked as a layout designer for almost 5 years. In September of 2008, I moved on to an organization in Greenville, SC where I now design circulars and advertising promotions for the BI-LO Corporation through their advertising department and Vertis Communications. My heart is still in personal business and ad design; making business owners happy through building their advertising products and assisting them in growing their businesses.
