Elektra...The Primrose Path
Here is my latest model of Elektra....designed to make a series of works based on a concept I had for an Elektra comic entitled, "The Primrose Path."
About Me
Autodesk states that Tinkercad has over 5 million users. Out of those 5 million users I'm the only one that has 13 Staff Favorites at the present. I am not a school-trained artist. I started drawing when I was 3, and haven't stopped at the age of 51. In my late 20's I started sculpting on my own with Polymer Clay. Then in 2013, I attended MakerFaire Bay Area to learn how to get into 3D printing and design. I was sick and tired of dealing with casting in Silicone and Resin. I bumped into Tinkercad and even though it was rudimentary, I realized that if I approached it as a Clay Sculptor, that I could actually sculpt much more realistically than most Tinkercad users would ever care to try. It became my obsessive pet-project to take this incredibly useful, simple, freeware, in-browser app and hack it, until it becomes the Poor Man's Maya.....
