PREOJECTS INVOLVED: Project 1: July 2007 To till date CMC Limited Electronic warfare system for defense Client: Defense Electronic Research Laboratories, Team size: 22 Role: Software Developer Description: This project includes applications pertaining to Electronic warfare system for Defense for various control activities of Enemy forces. Main objectives are capturing, Decision Making, Disturbance of enemy signals. Entire implementation is divided into three levels as Design and Analysis Station (DAS), Cluster Analysis Stations (CAS) and Forward Monitoring Stations (FMS). At each stage the information regarding enemy is captured, processed and sent in the form of reports to the next higher level where Decision-making is taken over and the respective Authorities take the corresponding action. Main function of the entities is Electronic Support/Surveillance Measurement (ESM, for capturing the signals). Responsibilities: o Develop CSCI(Computer Software Configuration Item) for my module o Interaction with Devices through CSCI code for Extraction of Parameters. Hardware: Intel based Pentium IV. Project 2: Dec, 2006 - Feb, 2007 R.V.R & J.C College of Engineering Guntur, A P, India Image Quality Assessment using Structural Similarity Index Method (SSIM) As Part of [login to view URL] (Electronics & Communication) Curriculum Team size: 4 Role: Team Leader. Description: This project's objective is to develop Structural Similarity Index that can predict perceived image quality automatically. Our work involves quantify the visibility of errors (differences) between a distorted image and a reference image using a variety of known properties of the human visible system. We introduce an alternative complementary framework for quality assessment based on the degradation of structural information. This method supposed to give better correlation with subjective scores.
