I'd Like to Be (Boys + Girls)
I wrote this boys series of books and liaised with the designer, explaining what i wanted in each picture. There is just an excerpt from each book. I was just the editor on the girls series of books but i had to make sure that all the words and pictures were correct and the design layout was good.
About Me
I have a qualification in proofreading and have worked for a book publisher as an Editor/Proofreader and Writer, so I have the skills required. I have an excellent eye for detail as the company I worked for is a high brow business in the UK so the quality of the books we created must be of a high standard. I have embarked on a freelance career, to utilise the skills I have gained throughout my career. I currently work part time for Audible as an Audio Proofreader so have the skills necessary to do any proofreading and editing job. My portfolio shows only a number of the projects I have worked on as some of my clients will not allow me to publish their work understandably. I am available straight away and I am very reliable.
