PreMedia artworker with over 14 years experience working within the print production industry. By working for and alongside dynamic companies, I have gained an extensive knowledge & skill base in all aspects of print, web and new media processes, setting output standards and best practices utilising both Macintosh, PC technology and industry-standard/bespoke applications and utilities. Continually I pride myself on the above attributes and am fully conversant with all industry-standard applications, including QuarkXPress (to v8), Adobe CS4 applications and various utility software. I have an extensive knowledge of the Macintosh environment up to OSX version 10.5.xx and am capable of troubleshooting or problem solving almost any output or technical issue. With possessing excellent communication skills, I am comfortable working with and alongside clients, printers, peers, external studios and agencies on both small and large, complex projects. I have a creative flare but realise that my strengths lay in production processes and have undertaken work within a wide range of industries, including banking & finance, automotive, new media, sports, travel, entertainment and packaging to name a few. Over the last year I have been heavily involved in helping build automated artwork, PDFx, file transfer, and asset management workflows using various in-house developments via a web-based portal and 3rd party applications. This allowed me to work on Linux, Windows and X-Serve server platforms and to learn new skills in database management and various aspects of I.T. maintenance and 1st line support.
