This piece, written for small jazz ensemble, was the winner of the 2009-2010 UNC Composer's Contest. This recording is from an album I recorded the summer prior for Colorado Conservatory for the Jazz Arts.
About Me
My name is Kyle Etges. I recently graduated from University of Northern Colorado with two degrees in Jazz Studies and Music Education. I have been composing since I was in 8th grade, and have won three state-wide jazz composition contests. I have performed internationally with bands in and outside of UNC, including the Lionel Hampton Youth Big Band.
