I have been using the Unreal Engine for over 5 years, completing projects for myself and multiple clients along the way. I can program in both C++ and Blueprints, and I have good algorithm-writing skills (studying Computer Science at Oxford) so will be able to write efficient, readable algorithms for your game/project.
I also have skills on the visual side of game development, with extensive level design knowledge for both realistic and stylized environments. I pride myself on being able to create cinematic cutscenes and beautiful screenshots of the levels/areas I have created to put in a trailer or show-off-reel for your project.
My most notable solo-project is "Stormrite", an open-world RPG that I am currently developing. It has reached the front page of r/gaming (25 + million members) twice, and has a decent following on social media. You can take a look at it via my porfolio. This was made using a mixture of blueprints and C++.
My most recent published project was "Keep It Up", a mobile football game that reached #8 on the Google Play store's trending page, and #82 on the iOS App Store's "Top Apps" page, with over 300,000 downloads in 50+ countries. This game integrated advertising SDKs and payments for both stores, with a backend database handling info about the game. This is also in my portfolio.
To conclude, I can do anything you require in the Unreal Engine, whether it is programming, animation, level design, UI or whatever else you may need (apart from VR, I don't have a headset to develop with).
Additionally, I have high python proficiency, having completed solo & group projects in python in and out of university. These projects have included machine learning projects, image processing, web scraping, data manipulation, and more. I have also got experience designing sites for web both from scratch & with Wordpress, and can use d3.js to create fluid & interactive data visualisations.
