I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Writing. I've spent the past three years as an editor of my student newspaper at my university. My work is professional and creative, and my work ethic is reliable and efficient. My preferred rate reflects that. In my leadership positions at the Cooper Point Journal, the student newspaper at The Evergreen State College, I have led a group of 10-20 people to produce a daily online news publication and sustain the student organization by doing consistent outreach and recruitment. I have learned how to share a collective vision of an organization's goals while teaching and encouraging others to fulfill those objectives. I have gained technical experience in webmaster tasks, writing, editing, research, and critical thinking. This amounts to a rare amount of leadership experience for a college graduate, and I am ready to start applying that knowledge in any arena that will foster creativity and further learning. Though I haven't been active on this site recently, I have done freelance writing work for over four years, and have written hundreds of quality original articles on topics ranging from food to health, real estate, fashion, music, cars, technology, and many more. I have also done freelance editing jobs and rewriting jobs. Almost all of my experience is with SEO and keyword-based writing. I am very familiar with the concepts of keyword density, copyscape, and (of course) originality and creativity. In addition to writing, I also have interest and experience in graphic and web design, especially with content management systems like Wordpress and Drupal.
