Typism app screen captures
Multiple screen captures from an app of mine which is now in the Android Market (Google Play Store). Some of the UI elements have been improved since the screen captures were taken. Depending on your point of view, this app is either an amusement or a work tool. It finds and displays all OpenType and TrueType font files on the user's Android device, including the system fonts. All extracts a table of information (e.g. designer, copyright, font names, etc.) from each file and displays it on request. User may download fonts into his / her collection with an integrated custom web browser. Zip files are handled by the app transparently to the user. User may apply colors / styles / sizing to displayed text through the use of gestures, popups and seekbars. Technologies used include In-App Billing (In-App Payment), SQLite database, WebView, custom layout ListView, AsyncTask (background threads); SubVersion and Eclipse were used as development tools.
