English For Everyone
I designed this logo for a language school in Indonesia. The owner wanted something simple for local Indonesians to remember as well as foreigners. The interconnectivity of the E + 4 + E showed the connection between English language and "everyone". The way the E4E rolls off the tongue when spoken aloud reflected how easy it was to learn the English language. Finally, the "everyone" represented that there were no age limits to learners who desired to learn English, as the school provided English language courses for preschool-aged children through adults, with a variety of different levels and course focuses.
About Me
I am an American who has worked in a variety of industries. I have worked in a variety of professional settings including mortgage, banking/finance, customer relations, and more. I have owned my own graphic and web design company and currently own a language school just outside of Bangkok, Thailand. I have lived throughout the United States, Indonesia and Thailand. I am a native English speaker and am fluent in three dialects of Indonesian language. I have worked for a variety of educational institutions from preschool, primary, secondary through university. I have taught Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, History, Information Technology, and English. I have taught English as a First Language and as a Foreign Language, as well as Literature. I am certified in the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE and 'A' Levels) and International Baccalaureate (IBO) 'A' Level for English Language and Literature. I write as a hobby and have much experience in technical writing, manual writing, expository writing, etc. I have a great blend of professional and academia experience.
