My project for INGERSOLL RAND-PLATE TO SHELL ASSEMBLY SETUP
It's a special purpose machine for the all directional welding and pipe inserting mechanism for a heat exchanger shell. It having 3 tube plates and a pair of shell. My machine have Manually movable tail stock, motorized movable tail stock by lead screw connected with the gear box has suitable reduction finaly connected to the input drive motor, rotating unit have a pair of drive roller and idler roller at LH side of the machine and the same at the RH side also. Rotator having lead screw mechanism for self centering according to the varying shell diameter. In accordance of the rpm needed suitable gear box is used for the drive roller .All mechanism is mounted on a sturdy base frame and all the sliding movement is carried out by the linear guide movement block and rail. Its nothing about the machine i designed . My other projects are manual push trolley, motorized trolley , welding rotator of turning capacity 3 , 5 10 , 20 , 30 , 40, 50, 60 and 100 ton, Welding Positioner etc.
