Linux backup filesystem with lvm
Linux backup filesystem with lvm works on Linux Server that allows many people to simultaneously use the same computer. Applications run on the server with a terminal known as a thin client handling input and output. This project is about empowering a server with cost effective features. Employment of Logical Volume makes a server more flexible. Logical volumes work as virtual storage, which provides efficient use of available physical memory. Triggered Backup minimizes the manual work and provides a automatic synchronized backup functionality to the server. It can work as an alternative of RAID. Use of SUID, GUID and Sticky bits increases its security for unauthorized external and internal access. By extending the useful life of obsolescent computers, costs can be cut. In addition, the use of centralized computing resources means that more performance can be gained for less money through upgrades to a single server rather than across a fleet of computers.
