Letchworth Air Cadets
248 Letchworth Squadron Air Cadets hired us to produce a fully functional website for the squadron. We discussed their needs and agreed on a brief before we started to build the site. The green colour scheme was chosen as it contrasts well with the squadrons crest as well as the main Royal Air Force Air Cadet banner. From the colour scheme, we next had to re-create the original pages from the old website,updating the copy and other content. We also added an interactive map from Google with the squadron's location. Part of the brief was to streamline their manual process for managing staff and cadet absences. The solution we provided uses a content management system that allows cadets to sign into a portal and register their absence. Staff are able to view absences at any time from any location. Another use of the content management system allowed registered members to keep up-to-date with events and activities.
