Slam Nite is a platform and community in Kenya that focuses on promoting spoken word, writing and poetry. They may be a small community but extremely passionate about their work and regularly organize physical meetups. I was responsible for creating a logo that corresponded with their community values and create designs for merchandise that looked "hip" and "cool"

Highly creative designer with experience in a variety of different fields such as marketing, product design and application development. Superb interpersonal and communication skills; team player with clear expressive and "out of the box" ideas. Well-versed in client and vendor negotiations/relation. Passionate about creating innovative marketing strategies, campaigns and design initiatives. Fully accustomed to performing in deadline-driven environments with an emphasis on working within budget requirements. Highlights of my Skills and accomplishments : -The lead designer in a team of five to develop a serious game project to tackle water issues in Kenya. Which later became one of the top winners in the Chezo Game Jam Competition -Developed and contributed to numerous marketing campaigns (logos, info graphics, presentations and advertisements) -Project Management: Capable of managing up to four projects at a given time while under pressure to meet strict weekly/monthly deadlines.
