One of my long-time clients once said, “Jack makes me look good.” My goal is to make that always be the case. I want to make you a rock star whenever you step up to the podium. Knowing your visuals are top-notch will make you feel confident as you speak. The self-confidence in your voice suggests authority. I know lots of folk hate PowerPoint with a passion. I chose to specialize in PowerPoint because I love working with it. I find it particularly gratifying to take a drab, DIY deck and transform it into a thing of beauty. I have a talent for creating data visuals from spreadsheets, charts, and graphs. Every design project is a problem to be resolved. I find innovative, attractive solutions. Before becoming a full-time graphic designer, I was a mainframe programmer and systems analyst. During that time, I worked at companies in diverse fields such as health care, manufacturing, county government, retail, and public utilities, to name a few. I bring my artistic training and considerable life experiences to every project. This is an investor pitch deck, designed for a software firm that provides email security and compliance services. Our client, Revolution Media Group, recently completed rebranding and building a website for JetStream Networks. Their client needed a pitch deck for delivery at an IT conference. I created a clean, minimalist deck using the company’s new branding and color scheme. The feedback that we received was that the client was thrilled with the new deck. She said that it vastly exceeded her expectations.

JetStream Pitch Deck

This is an investor pitch deck, designed for a software firm that provides email security and compliance services. Our client, Revolution Media Group, recently completed rebranding and building a website for JetStream Networks. Their client needed a pitch deck for delivery at an IT conference. I created a clean, minimalist deck using the company’s new branding and color scheme. The feedback that we received was that the client was thrilled with the new deck. She said that it vastly exceeded her expectations.

JetStream Pitch Deck

The presentation was a pitch to a specific firm. The makeover was a one-to-one slide replacement. As usual, I started with the development of a color palette. Then I chose suitable images. The original deck was text only. It had no imagery at all, so I needed to illustrate every slide in some way. I also reduced the verbiage on text-heavy slides. I designed clean, stylish layouts with consistent headings, titles, et cetera. Finally, I applied animations and transitions to invigorate the presentation. I saved the layouts that I created. They, along with the color scheme, and fonts became a PowerPoint theme that the client can use to provide consistency across all company presentations. I delivered the completed presentation on time and to the client’s complete satisfaction.

This was a deck makeover project for a global semiconductor company. We upgraded their corporate overview presentation with new graphics, reduced verbiage, improved layouts, headline alignment to reduce jitter, and conversion of some verbal concepts to data visualization.

CaddieNow is a concierge app that pairs caddies with golfers. The company is dedicated to restoring the use of caddies to the game. Their app offers a quick, easy and affordable way for a golfer to book a caddie, caddies to find work, and for courses to provide premium services at no operational cost to them. The deck that I designed is primarily used for presentations to golf course owners and managers.

Their patented and patent-pending technologies will make all media, content, advertising, and consumer activity, in real-time, accessible, interactive, transactional, and measurable. The first-ever network that expands and advantages all who participate. This is a multimedia deck as it contains several video clips. The overall design is one of simple elegance. Each slide was treated as a mini-project. The art director and I decided to keep the transitions simple. We chose fades for the entire deck.
