A Super-Learner Ensemble of Deep Networks for Vehicle-Type Classification

This paper introduces a densely connected single-split super learner to address the vehicle type classification problem in two challenging traffic surveillance datasets, the MIO-TCD dataset and the BIT-vehicle dataset. While our method is simple, easy to train, does not include any handcrafted features or any logic reasoning, it achieved fantastic results that compare to those of the state-of-the-art methods.
