Education: BComm(Hons) with a major in Operations Research and a minor in Computer Science. Post Grad. Diploma in Operations Research. Areas of Expertise: Problem investigation, definition, dissection, and resolution. Application of mathematics, statistics, algorithms and technology as objective, decision making tools. C and C++ programming a specialty, particularly in the areas of embedded development and wireless, sensor networks. A current area of interest is software security, in the embedded world and beyond. The application of cryptographic primitives to provide reasonable assurance of confidentiality, data validation, party authentication and privacy are particularly fascinating. My technical writing skills are evident in sample works that have proven popular, durable and relevant. My writing skills extend beyond the technical arena, to focused articles backed up by thorough research, presented in clear, easy to read prose. As another facet, I enjoy teaching and tutoring students, particularly in areas of math, statistics, and algorithms. I am successful because I am perseverant, patient, non-judgmental, and my native English verbal and written communication skills are second to none.
