UgaIrish Project
The UgaIrish Project is a charity I am involved with, and was the very first website I built. It was time for an update though, and I wanted a simple website that would catch people's attention, but be filled with timeless content that needed the minimum of updating. Much of the content is the same as the original, simply rewritten to bring it up to date plus make it timeless. The number of photo's are slimmed down to just a few of the village and its people. Videos have been added, as well as a number of other sections that we felt were necessary to provide.The website is built using WordPress as a CMS, and works very well for our needs. Since this site was re-done, a Facebook page has been set up to deal with the continual updates throughout the year, leaving the site to truly be a place for timeless info about the charity. About Me
I have an Honours Degree in Architectural Technology, while at the moment I'm working on a Masters in renewable energy. I've done a variety of work over the past few years, including extensive freelance web and graphic design. The main reason for joining Freelancer is to make some extra money to get me though college, but also to get experience doing different types of work and working with different people.
