Like all strong managers, Mr. Lavin started his career at an entry level. Out of college, he started at a computer refurbishing position, early in the mainframe computer industry, prior to the entry of the PC. Soon, he began to advance as he learned from experience at each level. Promoted at 22 years old to plant manager in Chicago, he grew as the industry grew. The rest of his career rapidly advanced and diversified.
Mr. Lavin is a management team player, and provides a high level of corporate direction. He is proficient in engineering as well as a management environments with the added ability to recognize new opportunities and design a response.
His strong business skills include being comfortable with high level negotiations, strong team leadership, a flair for CREATIVE marketing and the ability to identify and predict problems including innovative remedies. He also enjoys and possesses hands-on skills like graphic design, photography, video creation, and working with operational data processes.
