I am doing an electricity on-off status logger project which consists of a few simple 5V signals into the arduino, indicating which power source is currently on and which is off (with the on-off history and time/date stamp).\n\nMy setup is like this:\n\nPower source 1 > 5V transformer > 5V Signal > Arduino pin 12\nPower source 2 > 5V transformer > 5V Signal > Arduino pin 11\nPower source 3 > 5V transformer > 5V Signal > Arduino pin 10\n\nOnce a 5V is sent into either of the 3 ports, the arduino will tell me which power source is active and which isn\'t. Along with a simple log with time stamps.
