Mobile Reading Readiness Test and Training Kit For Children
A mobile based software of reading readiness test and training for preschool children based on Malay-language. This software is intended to helps the typical developing children, 'at-risk' readers, and under-privileged children to master the basic skills of reading to join the mainstream in learning to read with ease. Implementation on mobile gives assessor/teacher's advantages on ease of use and ubiquitous testing and training for their preschool children. Currently, there is no software is developed for the same purpose. More than 100 Testing methods are embedded for visual discrimination; phonological awareness; letter recognition; letter-sound correspondence; syllables listening vocabulary; reading vocabulary; and reading comprehension. Comprehensive training objects on auditory acuity and language ability are generated based on level of testing result.
