Becca H.

I studied editing at Brigham Young University, where I received great training and application of current editing rules. I am a skilled editor with a good eye for errors and clear language. I provide quality feedback. I completed a capstone editing class in 2012 where I helped produced a travel magazine called Stowaway. In this class I wrote an article, edited and proofread several articles, and contributed to the design of the magazine. I worked as a personal secretary and research assistant for a religion professor at BYU for nearly four years. I currently work as an on-call writer and editor for the LDS Church, and my work must meet a very high standard in this position. I became certified as a strengths coach in October 2015. I use principles founded on Gallup's StrengthsFinder assessment to coach people on their unique strengths. My goal is to enable people to understand and utilize their strengths more effectively as they recognize their true identity.
