The details of Steel Tower experience skills mentioned below.
1. Drafting & doing the details of Steel Tower type 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D. The design and material of the towers shall confirm to IS: 802 (Part-I)-1977, IS: 802 (Part-2)-1978 and IS: 802 (Part-3) 1978.
2. Preparing design drawings under the guidance of structural design engineers of ABB, L&T, Siemens, Suzlon, Elcon Engineers, etc…
3. Preparing the shop/workshop drawing under the guidance of structural design engineer, choosing the right steel sections such as angles, channels, “I” beams etc. as shown in the design drawing as per IS: 808, 1989, reaffirmed 1999. Third revision.
4. Preparing detail drawing. Of joints, gusset plate, showing in drawing in details to read easily fabricators & welders. Whenever the tower base is on foundation bolts based then, we are showing in drawing only in details.
5. All the drawings shall be made by using AutoCAD 2007 package.
6. I have knowledge of IS standard, whenever need American & British standard shall be use, learn and implement in the drawing.
7. Drafting & doing the details of bolt, nuts and washer design and material of the towers shall confirm as per IS.

Job Responsibilities/Profile
1. I have made some standardized drawings. Like, Equipment Earthing, Equipment structures, Towers and Beams, some civil drawings etc…. I am also making company standards of drawing sheets, title block, bill of material format, drawing format, line types, drawing scales, drawing colors.
2. Give the bill of material of total substations at the tender time based on Electrical engineers and Civil engineers given data.
3. Preparing the Single Line Diagram, Plan and Section layout and go to the client’s office, after make some minor modification and doing the discussion with their engineers and finalized above three basic drawings.
4. Based on given engineers data I am preparing the other drawings given above listed.
5. When project is running I am communicating with client/contractors or if possible to visit the project size. I am going on site and looking to the site situation and give suggestion to make further changes or correction.
6. I am preparing total substation steel structure independently like Tower, Beam, Equipment structure and Cable trench structure and angle details based on given engineer’s data.
7. I my self going to the structure vendor for the difficulty and inspect the all job by dimensionally.
8. After the commissioning the substation project. I am going to the site for the as built drawing. I myself taken the dimensions and make the changes in the drawing.
My achievements:
1. I have learned AutoCAD VBA program and also learning VBA in advance to do more better program.
2. I am preparing the full automated program for drawing generating of Single Line Diagram, Plan Layout and Sectional layout of substation. It will fully automate. Like, if we want to change Isolator’s rating. I will change in the database program which is already there. I will make those changes at once. Then program will changes in all the related drawings.
3. I am preparing the substation structure’s automated program. It will give us bill of material automatically.
a. If we want to change the back to back of tower at bottom. We will have to make changes in database program at once. And program will change all the structure members including bill of material.
b. If we want to see any part of detail, We have to click on that part only and program will give us that steel part length, their Kg/m. weight, its own weight, qty., weight of one part, total weight.
