KEY COMPENTENCIES: •Design, flair and sensitivity •Good colour judgement/colour selecting/matching skills. •High level of colour separation assessment. •Good problem solving skills within any given technical/printing constraints. •Photographic/digital scanning skills for artwork preparation. •Colour separation for spot colour/cmyk/rgb and multi colour printing processes to 20+ colours. •Scanning, colour separation, colour correction, masking and re-touching. artwork for print preparation from customer supplied data to produce production ready graphics. •Producing computer generated artwork using most industry standard drawing packages and specialist bespoke design packages including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Streamline, Platescribe, PS-Visualiser. •Film positive assessment on completion of artwork, responsible for self assessment of final result in collaboration with the personnel. •Sound knowledge of screen technology, screen printing and limitations •Knowledge of 3D transference for flat 2D printed images, trigonometry being part of the knowledge required for this. •Assessing proof progressives, implementing corrections required and taking into account customer/end user comments to ensure approval.
