A custom built web application for my own business that makes it easy to author and deploy assessments|to mobile devices. It provides administration, user management, media management,reporting, email invites, notifications and registration and more. Built in Django and Python, hosted in the cloud with asset storage on Amazon the editor currently outputs to a mobile friendly web site, accessible on any phone using Jquery Mobile. The online editor is built in html5 and css3 an built using tools such as Jade, SASS, AngularJS and Bootstrap.
About Me
I am a web developer with over ten years experience in developing online content across a broad range of technologies. Using HTML/JS/JQuery/CSS, all with strict accessibility and cross browser compatibility, I have developed hundreds of e-learning websites for corporate clients to the strict standards such clients demand. More specifically, I have been either lead or senior Flash/Actionscript developer for the last seven years on large scale flash projects which have involved further multimedia skills in video editing, composition, sound editing, 3D modeling and animation. On a recent project I introduced using Xbox’s Kinect for our motion capture needs. These days I have developed a native iOS and Android mobile app in Titanium for medical training purposes. I am currently building a custom CMS backend web application in Python/Django with AWS cloud storage that allows users to author and publish their own mobile content to a JQuery mobile site wrapped in PhoneGap. For some slick interfaces native iOS and Android clients are to be developed in Titanium. I am always seeking new projects to utilize new tools and frameworks. In my current project my toolset is AngularJS, Underscore, Jquery Mobile, Bootsrap, Sass and Jade. As I have worked in the corporate sector for many years I am accustom to working to deadlines, documentation and reporting that defines large-scale projects. I feel with my multimedia experience I communicate my ideas and concepts to creative teams easily and have trained and mentored staff, overseen local and offshore production of assets and liaised with clients and stakeholders on technical matters. I have been the sole developer of many projects, responsible for all stages of development and support. I have also worked in teams of just a few guys to 50+ people. I am seeking projects that would continue to allow me to enhance my skillset, especially in the development of backend infrastructure, and continue to build upon project proven skills using the front end toolsets available today.
