I studied Advertising Art in the Centro Español de Nuevas Profesiones (1997-2000). I speak and write English at an advanced level given that it was the principal language in one of my previous workplaces. I work freelance specializing in textile graphic design as well as with corporate identities and advertising. I started my career as a graphic designer in advertising and communication companies. In 2003 I started working as a textile graphic designer for Pepe Jeans S.L., where my passion for fashion really began to show itself. Since then my work has become entwined with this sector, starting with illustration and graphic design, printwear, labels, etc, and progressing to creating my own designs and producing my own collection. I have worked as the head of graphic design, dealing with designers, stylists, pattern designers, knowing thoroughly the entire production process of each item, as well as dressmaking and fabric quality and treatment procedures. I have produced swatch samples, calibrating these to match perfectly with the design and production. When looking for trends… I go shopping, to fashion fairs like Bread&Butter (Barcelona and Berlin) and I continually search for information through media such as WGSN (World Global Style Network) and in diverse style and fashion magazines. My inspiration… Brilliant colours, nature, ambiguous blends, impressionism, advertising from the 40's, Bauhaus.. Some of the textile companies I have worked for are Pepe Jeans S.L., Chitton S.L. proprietors of the brands Fresh Baked Jeans and Mioko Jeans, and I have designed for brands such as Burberry, Zara, Bershka and Top Shop through the wholesaler Martín Consuegra S.L.
