Margin
Re-branding for Margin, a contemporary fashion label that provides with an edge. The solution sought after was to create an identity that emanates the personality of the designer and the garments. Simple, classy, and edgy. Through clever type and colour treatment the ‘a’ in margin, serves itself as a part of the ‘g’ too, thus creating a margin/border between the word.
About Me
I graduated from Parsons, The school of Design in New York with a keen interest in the field of brand strategy & identity design. Soon after I joined FITCH, where I worked on retail and branding projects. Additionally, I led the communication design for Idea Cellular, and assisted on retainer accounts like Aditya Birla Capital. The urge to generate smart and strategic design solutions has catapulted me to undertake freelance projects, wherein, I developed visual identities for companies ranging from myriad fields. An integral skill I developed during my Masters in Marketing was the ability to take issues of social significance and critically analyse them through the application of academic concepts and theories. What truly excites me about branding, is the opportunity to be able to breathe life into a company by providing it with a personality, a voice, a mark and also the ability to evoke an emotional response from people that interact with it.
