Amanda G.

Amanda has a Ph.D. in avian ecology and wrote her [login to view URL]. thesis on deer ecology. She has 7 seasons of field experience in various challenging environments including Asian jungles and New Zealand's Southern Alps. Amanda has worked on the River Suir Heritage Audit, habitat mapping to Fossitt Level 3, digitising features, surveying bats and doing desktop research. She has also surveyed bats by catch and release using harp traps and mist nets and been involved in bird population surveys and banding schemes. Amanda has been training in Appropriate Assessment and Ecological Impact Assessment, QGIS and terrestrial mammal ecology. She is a graduate member of CIEEM. Amanda is also an exceptional report writer and has been published in peer-reviewed ecology journals. She is experienced with data entry and analysis using Excel, SPSS, R, ArcGIS and QGIS.
