Corporate Communications ManagerFeb 2013
This position focuses mainly on the management of the company’s internal communications. As Corporate Communications Manager, I ensured that the company’s communication channels are up-to-date and in keeping with the standards of our major shareholders. I led the redesign of the company’s website—both in content and overall look— and its development into a mobile-responsive platform. I also spearheaded the improvement of the company logo, the creation of the logo guidelines book and I monitor the alignment of all materials such as business cards, official forms and letterhead, etc. As part of internal communications, I also perform as managing editor of the company’s newsmagazine, organizer of leadership communication platforms such as town-hall meetings and video messages and production head of the company’s corporate videos such as PR films, training videos and corporate MTVs. My team was also responsible for creating a unified corporate social responsibility commitment for the company, from which we executed our first program—PEPSIGLA—that focuses on the nutrition of malnourished school-children. I am also part of the organizing committee that executes internal company events, both locally and internationally. Our last two events were held in Bangkok, Thailand and Beijing, China. I’m still heavily involved in the company’s external affairs, especially in hosting and organizing media and CSR events.

As the company’s External Corporate Communications Specialist, I was responsible for communicating and promoting company initiatives, news and programs to its external customers. I was also tasked to assist our top executives in press conferences and I represented the company in external events. I managed and monitored related print and online media to keep our executives up-to-date with the industry and its different players. In line with this, I also wrote press releases and features for the company and ensured that it is published in all media platforms. I also dealt with customer/consumer comments and queries and assisted in training the company’s employees in consumer concern handling. I was also tasked to spearhead the production of the company’s external publications, such as annual reports. I managed the production of the company’s first-ever coffee-table book, The Pepsi Challenge: A Journey of Remarkable Resilience, tracking the company’s 65-year history. The book has since been awarded The 2013 Quill Excellence Award for Communications Skills, The 2014 Anvil Award of Excellence for PR Tools, 2014 Bronze Anvil Award for PR Tools and a 2014 Gold Stevie Award.
