My name is Adrián Ribao; I'm an enthusiast of, well, of almost everything :-) But especially in technology. Here you can find more information about my experience and expertise. It was version 0.96 or so. Coming from PHP, I was amazed by Python and Django. I funded my company that year and started to work exclusively with Django since that day. I learned Django by witnessing the ecosystem grow, reading the docs and the code, and going through Trac. I was very interested in High Performance and the best practices. So I started to learn about the asynchronous paradigm very soon. But, of course, everything was very immature by then. I have worked on many exciting projects related to Django. One of them is particularly special. I worked with another guy on a project for Google! Google published the link to that project on its home page for 24h, and it was an unbelievable experience to see the massive amount of traffic and how the machines scaled and evolved with the different timezones. I have worked with several European startups, sometimes rewriting a failed app from scratch, others developing from the beginning or evolving what they already had. = Elixir = As a seasoned programmer with over seven years of experience in Elixir, I am well-versed in using Phoenix Framework and Phoenix Live View, as well as data ingestion. I've also completed several IoT projects using the Nerves framework, including one for a physiotherapy center that features a Phoenix interface on a Raspberry PI 3. In fact, I've even written articles about running PostgreSQL on a device with Nerves!
