About Me
I am an Illustration and Animation graduate who is currently looking for work within a multitude of creative fields. My artwork can take on a variety of different themes, from critical views of social and cultural issues, to exploring far off fantasy landscapes. Often referencing elements from an array of different sources, my work has always been my way of escaping the somewhat mundane reality of everyday life. I create vast 3D generated landscapes that are as far away from reality as possible. I find a massive amount of enjoyment in the process of working on a project from start to finish, from the first initial idea forming in my mind right through to the finished artefact having been produced. I create this through a variety of software packages, mainly Autodesk 3D Studio Max and Adobe Photoshop. However there is also a large amount of traditional illustration work which takes place during my creative process. I make work because I enjoy the process of bringing an idea to life. The sense of satisfaction that I receive after spending a successful amount of time working on a project is immensely gratifying. Primarily my work is targeted at a young contemporary market but my aim is for my work to be accessible to a diverse audience. I hope that people can understand my perspective when they view my work and hopefully end up taking away a unique understanding of what I have produced.
