Analysis of 5 problems Using Ansys Apdl
5 problems were given to solve using Ansys Apdl. From the modelling of structures, sections etc to the meshing, adding boundary conditions, solving and plotting the results according to the requirements of the problems were done. Different types of mesh were used. Mesh sizes were controlled and refining techniques applied, including custom refining by controlling the element size by dividing elements into user defined section by creating arbitrary lines and keypoints to control the mesh. IGS files were imported for one of the problems and sectional view in three perpendicular planes for the 3d solid were given. Nodal Plots, Element Table, Path operations were done to plot von-mises stress, and componenents of displacement A report was given along with the database file for each of the file along with the log file and error file of ansys. The result file was also provided.
