Robust sensor fault estimation for fractional-order systems with monotone nonlinearities
This paper investigates the problem of sensor fault estimation for systems with monotone nonlinearities and unknown inputs. To the best of our knowledge, such a particular problem is treated for the first time, as only actuator faults have been estimated for this class of nonlinear systems in the literature. The design method is based on an unknown input observer and is particularly effective for integer-order systems and fractional-order systems.
Sensor fault estimation for fractional-order descriptor one-sided Lipschitz systems
Up to now, the problem of sensor fault estimation for integer-order descriptor systems has been tackled by several researchers. However, no attempt has been done to estimate sensor faults for fractional-order descriptor systems. In this context, this paper presents a complete methodology to solve this problem.
On Observer Design for Nonlinear Caputo Fractional‐Order Systems
The observer design problem for integer‐order systems has been the subject of several studies. However, much less interest has been given to the more general fractional‐order systems, where the fractional‐order derivative is between 0 and 1. In this paper, a particular form of observers for integer‐order Lipschitz, one‐sided Lipschitz and quasi‐one‐sided Lipschitz systems, is extended to the fractional‐order calculus.
Observer-based model reference control for linear fractional-order systems
In the literature, the issue of designing model-reference controllers for integer-order systems has been extensively addressed. The extension of the existing works to the fractional-order calculus is still a fertile field of research. It is within this context that the present paper is established. Herein, a new observer-based model-reference control scheme is proposed for linear fractional-order systems.
Unknown Input observer design for fractional-order one-sided Lipschitz systems
Designing unknown input observers for integer-order systems has been subject to numerous and various research works. However, dealing with the fractional-order calculus, the literature lacks of such results. Indeed, only very few attempts have been done to design unknown input observers for linear fractional-order systems and Lipschitz nonlinear fractional-order systems.
Fault Tolerant Control for Linear Fractional-Order Systems with Sensor Faults
Up to now, the problem of designing Fault Tolerant Controllers for the classical integer-order systems has been tackled by several researchers. However, to the best of our knowledge, only few papers dealing with Fault Tolerant Control for fractional-order systems exist in the literature. Motivated by this fact, we present herein a novel Fault Estimation and Fault Tolerant Control scheme for linear fractional-order systems with sensor faults.
Robust Observer Design for a Class of Linear Fractional-Order Systems with Matched Uncertainties
The problem of designing robust observers for integer-order uncertain systems has been widely treated in the literature. Yet, the generalization of the existing results to the fractional-order framework represents a fertile area of research. In this context, this paper presents a novel robust observer design for a class of uncertain fractional-order linear systems.
A reduced-order unknown input observer scheme for a class of nonlinear fractional-order systems
The issue of concepting reduced order continuous-time observers has been subject to several research works. Up to now, only very few papers have treated the specific one-sided Lipschitz class of systems with unknown inputs. Likewise, the literature contains very few works treating reduced order observers for fractional-order systems.
