When starting a contest, you can select to run it for 3 to 30 days.

For how long should I run my contest for?

Consider the difficulty of your contest brief before deciding on the duration in order to provide interested freelancers ample time to create their entries.

Can I extend the contest period/duration?

In case the time you initially decided on is not enough, you can extend the contest period for a small fee, which will be a percentage of your originally-set contest prize. This can be done as many times as required, as long as the contest is still open. Doing so will also automatically convert your contest to Guaranteed.

What happens to my contest after the contest period?

The contest will be pending for 30 days after it closes, during which you may award winner/winners or runners-up. If not awarded after 30 days, the contest prize money will be automatically distributed among qualified entries. The Money Back Guarantee is only available for contests that are not Guaranteed.
