I have a live Zapier AI automation that feeds my React front-end and a Node.js API. Since yesterday the trigger has been firing twice, which leaves me with duplicated items showing up in the Zapier dashboard and, ultimately, in my app. Nothing else in the flow seems to fail; the actions work once the duplicate trigger is removed. I need someone to jump in immediately, trace why the trigger is mis-behaving, and stop the duplication. You’ll have access to the Zap, the relevant React component that calls the webhook, and the Node.js endpoint the Zap hits on completion. Acceptance criteria • The trigger fires exactly once per event; no duplicated tasks appear in the Zapier dashboard after 20 consecutive test runs. • Existing data in production is untouched. • A brief note summarising the root cause and the change made, so I can maintain it going forward. If you have deep Zapier experience, especially with webhook or AI steps, and can turn this around fast, let’s get started right away.

I noticed your need for immediate assistance with a Zapier AI Trigger Debug to resolve the issue of duplicated items appearing in your dashboard and app. With over 7 years of experience in software development, I am confident in my ability to tackle this problem efficiently. My approach to this project would involve: - Analyzing the Zapier setup to identify the root cause of the trigger firing twice - Implementing a solution to ensure the trigger fires only once per event - Testing the updated flow to verify that no duplicated tasks appear in the Zapier dashboard - Documenting the changes made with a brief summary for your reference In past projects, I have successfully resolved similar issues with automation triggers, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows. Specifically, I debugged a Zapier integration for a client that was experiencing similar duplication problems, resulting in a seamless automation process. Before we proceed, I would like to ask: Are there any specific constraints or considerations I should keep in mind while working on this project? Your input will help me tailor my approach to meet your exact needs. Feel free to review my portfolio for relevant work samples. Let's work together to resolve this issue promptly and effectively.

Hey — saw your post about debugging your Zapier AI trigger that’s feeding your React front-end and Node.js API. When a live automation suddenly breaks, the worst part is not knowing if the issue is Zapier, the API, or the front-end. Quick question before I suggest an approach: Did anything change yesterday in your Node.js API (endpoints, auth, schemas) or Zapier configuration right before it stopped working? I’ve debugged similar Zapier → Node → React flows before, especially around AI actions, webhooks, and broken payloads after small changes. If you send the Zap link (screenshot of the steps) and your API endpoint details, I can review what’s failing and where.
