I am looking for someone to do a small job for me which has a couple of components...
The overall idea is that I need some sort of web based form created in which users are able to use check boxes to select various products. Once selected, this form would cross-reference their selections with a database(ms access) file which contains product descriptions, delivery details, etc. Then a document/report (HTML & RTF or DOC) would be created which displayed their selections in a pre-configured format (text + tables), populated by the data from the access database.
I can see at least 3 components which need development in this project:
- the web based form (simple, 1-page)
- database file exists, but may need to be adapted to suit the needs of the project
- final document/report template with options to display/export as html, and (.doc or .rtf).
This simple system would need to live within our corporate intranet, so should be fairly self-contained.
Also, the access database file will change over time with the addition of new products, etc. This file and the html input form should be created in such as way as they could be modified by someone with limited knowledge of ms access database's and html coding.
