I need a complete rules-based asset tracking system for use with serial and ethernet RFID sensors and RF tags. The sensor & tag manufacturers SDK will be available for the communications from the sensors to the application.
Data collection component will run as a Windows Service and pass all data from many sensors to MySQL/MSSQL database. The application will apply business rules and report movements/violations and exceptions. Outputs will be on-screen alerts, IO Board (for integration with Access Control Systems), management reports etc.
System must include mapping function to display geographical location of sensors and tags.
A Web interface will also be required.
Could be a reverse engineering project. I have similar application for review.
Only interested in bids from developers who have experience in integrating Serial AND Ethernet hardware.
