Ideally seeking someone familiar with infopath forms, though not essential it will make it easier for you to understand what im seeking.
When an infopath form is submitted the form values can be posted as an xml document.
I need a web service created that will accept this xml document (example attached) and store the values in a sql server database. Will just need a database insert method and also a database update method that will simply update the same record when it is re-submitted ("signed off") by an approver.
Then i can set up my infopath submit connection to point to this web service.
Only thing to note is there can be repeating nodes in the xml document (group 2 elements in example) as infopath forms allow repeating table rows where users can add as many rows as they like.
So for example xml file attached it would result in 4 new records added to the database for the 4 group2 nodes. (other db fields eg cit_no would all be the same for the 4 records)
also attached is the database schema.
ideally the web service solution will be compatible with asp.net framework 2.0 as our server does not support 3.5 as yet.
