I developed a flash as2 web-based training for my company.
I would like to implement a feature but I'm more designer than developer, and this requires advanced developer skills.
The training is based of many modules, and, in a specific screen (see picture), the trainer can decide which module to use clicking the relevant check boxes, then start the training.
What I need is to locally (in the computer and not in a server) save the selection of check boxes, giving a specific name, so that is possible to save also different training sequences, clicking on a "save" button.
This selection can be loaded clicking a "load" button, and selecting the saved file.
This will allow a specific training selection, or more than one selections, to be shared with other trainers, and to avoid trainer to select their optimal training modules every time, after they have saved it in a file.
File must be saved locally because the training is available also in an off-line version, that trainers use when internet connection is not available. So it's actually more relevant to save the selection in the off-line version than in the on-line.
So, anyone that can create a code to save in a file the check box status, and reload that file?
I hope could explain clearly what I'm looking for.
Thanks a lot.
