Your brief caught my attention because you’re not really looking for someone to “write a novel.” You already have the bones. You need someone who can walk into those bones. I don’t write characters who exist merely to advance a plot. I want the contradiction. The beautiful person who makes an ugly choice. The villain who has one painfully human reason for becoming one. The hero who discovers that doing the right thing can still cost them everything. Give me an outline and I’ll look for the story underneath it: what your characters are frightened of, what they refuse to admit, what they want badly enough to destroy something for. Then I’ll build the manuscript around those pressures. I’m particularly drawn to fantasy with psychological weight. Worlds can be enormous, but the most interesting battles are often happening inside one person’s head. My writing style can move from intimate and visceral to expansive and lyrical. A beautiful sentence means very little if nothing is bleeding underneath it. I want the rhetoric to sharpen the emotion, the dialogue to carry subtext, and every scene to either reveal character or move the story somewhere it cannot easily return from.
