We've launched this plugin a few months ago and have been getting a lot of good feedback from our users. We are looking for an expert WordPress plugin developer to improve the functionality and add new features to our plugin.
The first engagement aims to increase compatibility with lower resources on certain hosting environments.
For larger sites, on hosts with smaller and locked in max_execution_time, backup and/or restore action will time out and fail. We would like to use and improve the current log file to catch when the script is running out of time, stop the execution and restart from the last step (that was about to run out of time). If after 2nd try on this current step we are still running out of time, stop the script and display error message to user that their server resources do not allow for the plugin to finish the necessary tasks.
Backup and restore are working in the background via proc_open(). We need to make sure that works correctly and if the server does not support proc_open() display on the progress log that the user should not navigate away from current screen.
